Living under someone else’s roof meant enduring words that bruised my spirit
One night, my own guy looked me dead in the eye and said
"Bro, your village people dey your matter. Go find solution.
I still remember that moment
Not because of the insult
But because it broke me so bad,
I either had to stay broken or build a new me
2023 I made myself a New Year resolution to learn a skill
I went online and found Copywriting, because it was easy to enter
I had no laptop
Just my phone, and the hunger to never feel that way again
Copywriting became my way out
Not because it was easy
But because it made sense
It was the one thing I could start with zero capital—just brain, phone, and grind
But I didn’t go into Copy like everybody else
I didn’t treat it like a side hustle
I treated it like a survival
I poured my pain into my learning
I turned my depression into fuel
I studied when others were partying
Watched YouTube when others were watching movies
Attended seminars when I couldn’t even afford the transport fare
And slowly…
